Meet Jessica

As a full-spectrum doula, I support people through fertility journeys, pregnancy, abortion, birth, postpartum, and loss. My work is grounded in reproductive justice and the belief that everyone deserves care that honors the fullness of who they are. I am committed to providing gender-affirming, anti-racist support that centers autonomy, informed decision-making, and each person's right to make choices about their own body, family, and future.

Before becoming a doula, I spent many years working as an educator, researcher, caregiver, and childcare provider. Drawn to work rooted in relationships, care, and community, I completed my postpartum doula training through DONA International and later trained in labor and birth, fertility, and loss support through Sokana Collective.

As a doula, I bring a calm, grounded presence, a deep respect for consent and collaboration, and an evidence-based approach to care. I especially enjoy supporting first-time parents, LGBTQ+ families, neurodivergent clients, and people navigating chronic illness, though I warmly welcome families of all kinds. Whether you are preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a new baby, exploring your options, or moving through grief and transition, I strive to create a space where you feel informed, supported, and truly seen.

When I'm not supporting families, I'm completing a PhD in Art History, swimming in Lake Michigan, practicing the banjo, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with my wife and our three cats.
