Meet Aja
I am a birth and postpartum doula and advocate for birth justice.. I have been supporting families in the birth space since 2019 and am deeply committed to ensuring that every birthing person feels informed, respected, and empowered throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. My work is rooted in advocacy, education, and helping families navigate birth with confidence while honoring their autonomy and voice.
My passion for supporting families began long before my work as a doula. Since high school, I have dedicated my life to working with children and families, which eventually led me to a career in behavioral health. Outside of my role as a doula, I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who specializes in supporting neurodivergent children and their families. Through my work, I help create environments where children can grow, communicate, and thrive while empowering families with tools, knowledge, and compassionate support.
By blending my background in behavioral science with my passion for birth work, I bring a unique perspective to the families I serve. I am especially passionate about creating inclusive and supportive spaces for diverse families and advocating for equitable, respectful care in the birth setting.
